EnviroHumanImpact is now Earthascope
We finally did it. EnviroHumanImpact is now Earthascope!
For the last 3 months (really since EnviroHumanImpact was put on hold in October) we have been toying with the idea of changing the name of EnviroHumanImpact over to work in line with our main family of sites.
Concerned with the SEO implications and dwindling available time, we kept pushing back a potential changeover; however, about a week ago, we pushed forward and just did it.
The other major change you’ll notice with the new Earthascope is a complete site redesign. The magazine style theme we had been using slowly became more cumbersome to use for daily posting as well as painfully complicated for monetization through advertising.
In the new design, you’ll notice an overall simplification of the site with a cleaner look, fewer colors, and an easier to use interface. Much of the design inspiration comes from one of our favorite blogs, TechCrunch.
Wesley has provided a very nice reintroduction to the site for anyone interested including a personal note towards the end that ties together very nicely.
Again, we’d like to thank all of our loyal readers and followers for your support and hope to continue down this ever-changing path together in the coming months and years.
Cheers!
